Have you ever experienced a vision that later came to pass? Are you aware enough to catch such occurrences and seek their meaning? For me premonitions are an everyday event. My work requires that I be highly attuned to the subtle energetic field where all potential exists prior to being made manifest in our physical reality. As a result, I often get a heads up regarding things that are about to become a part of my reality (or if I’m with others, I might see what is becoming real for them). The other day I had one of these infamous precognitive visions that was quickly accompanied by a magpie telling me to pay special attention to the vision as it would shortly come to pass. He emphasized to me how my thoughts and feelings were in that moment creating my reality and it was important that I know what I was creating.

It was then that I came to understand the magpie not as a bird but as a shape shifter, a master teacher in disguise of nature. The magpie’s appearance once again told me my vision was important and as I thought back on it, I recalled feeling a sense of disbelief, which was what the magpie was cautioning me against. The vision was seemingly random. I had seen myself with a group of people I didn’t know but who were embracing me as one of their own. I felt like I was being recognized for my work and for my nature as if it were okay for me to be me with these people. However, that was where doubt entered the equation and I didn’t trust that the vision could come to fruition. What I desired verses what I believed I could have where in conflict.I’m used to being the outsider not the center of attention. Generally, my thoughts, beliefs and ideas are too fringe-thinking for people to accept. However, the magpie reassured me that wasn’t true and that I should check in with my feelings and see if they were in alignment with my vision lest I create something I didn’t really want.
I’ve explained countless times how thoughts and emotions serve as the

If we fear, we attract more to fear. If we love, we attract more to love. Every thought we have sparks our emotions and the infinite field of source responds to the feeling by bringing to us its match. The magpie was encouraging me to let go of my old beliefs and feelings that said people were not open to my work and adopt a new belief that stated people today were hungry for my knowledge and eager to learn about self-healing.

Interestingly, later that day I met a man who asked me what I did for a living. Feeling confident from my experience with the magpie, I didn’t hesitate in saying I was a clairvoyant, however, his response stunned me. He didn’t question what I did but asked if I was a medium as well (something most people wouldn’t think to ask) to which I answered, yes and started talking more about my work. He was very intrigued about the healing aspects of my information and quickly asked if I would like to speak to his group. In that moment, I could hear the magpie squawking in my ear. Had I not re-examined my vision and changed my relationship to what I believed, I would likely have withheld my true profession from the man never knowing he was in need of my services. However, the minute I changed my belief and got out of my own way the universe lined up to bring to me that which was helping me fulfill my desires.
Premonitions, dreams, visions and intuition occur to help us know what we want verses what we are creating and if we don’t like what we see, we can change it. Check in with yourself and see if your thoughts and feelings match your desires. If they do not, don’t be afraid to change your mind and emotions.
Happy Envisioning!
