YOUR INTUITION IS WORKING EVEN IF IT ISN'T: Why your intuition appears to be off at times

People often assume that because I rely on intuition, I must have life all figured out—that I'm always on the right path, effortlessly thriving and stress-free. If only it were that simple!

If you're like me and many others, you've probably wondered if your intuition is really working as it should. So, how can you tell if your higher senses are truly guiding you?

The common belief is that when intuition is “on,” life will unfold perfectly, without effort or hardship. But what if that’s not the case?

I often hear from people who feel their intuition has “failed” them, leading them into the wrong relationships, careers, or choices. However, expecting intuition to always make everything perfect is a misunderstanding of its purpose.

Intuition isn’t meant to guarantee that you always get things “right” or stay on a flawless path. Instead, it helps bring you into experiences you need to learn what truly resonates—or doesn’t—with you. Sometimes, that means facing challenging situations so you can grow.

Think of it this way: If you knew a relationship would break your heart, you’d probably avoid it. But by not engaging, you might miss out on learning the depths of your emotions, discovering your capacity for love, and identifying patterns you'd like to change based on what worked or didn’t work in the relationship.

Your intuition guides you through trial and error because it knows you need those lessons to create the life you truly desire. Blaming intuition for difficult circumstances is like blaming the messenger for delivering an important message.

Release the myth that intuition makes life flawless. Instead, see what it wants to teach you, and allow yourself to grow and expand in the ways you choose.
